Im finally hitched! Im still getting used to my new surname lol.
Wedding was a success, we had our share of problems but like what Robert adviced - what matters is the union. The ceremony, the reception - theyre all just the cherry on top. But what's important is finally signing that piece of paper that forever unites you. ^^
All the stress we experienced during the preparations and on the day itself was very much worth it. We hope everyone had a great time during the wedding. ^^ Thanks also to the following people who made everything possible:
Gab (for the layouts and being the surrogate bf lol), Hazel (for the trips to divi and recto and the wine with the haciendero and for the scrapbook!), Toby (sorry I forgot you on my speech haha si bryan din nakalimutan ko nga eh, thanks for the wonderful wonderful AVP sorry na stress kita), Paul Refol (for the fabulous make up! You made me look like a girl haha!), Keith and Kreame (for the wonderful wonderful pictures).
Thanks to our friends who agreed to be part of the wedding, liturgical and offertory entourage. ^^
This was also an experience for me and Joevin (the Best man) to bond - prior to the event we werent exactly good terms but now we're the best of friends. And all his hardwork really showed off (he rndered his services for free and I am forever grateful)
Thanks to our friends who attended - Ongakusociety, OAV, Cosplay, Katipunan Bear family. I missed my Katipunan friends a LOT. Thanks to LN for flying his ass all the way from iloilo, to Jane and Kim for wearing a dress, to mama Bear for being fabulous, to Tim for agreeing to be a reader. I miss you guys!
 
And to the OS, OAV and Cosplay peeps - THANKS FOR THE SCRAPBOOK! The messages were hilarious and touching. Thanks Robert for initiating it (I was not really expecting it!!) and thanks to hazel for compiling :) I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH.
I really cant express how much i love you guys. ^^

Wedding's a few days away and im having problems with my relatives.
You see we have a strict guest list, not because we're pompous and shit but because we cannot afford to have a lot of people attend our wedding. Lets just say that the entrance fee to the wedding is way way more than your entrance fee at a Hard Rock Cafe.
Now its clearly stated in their invitations that the alloted seat for them is, lets say 2. We are assuming that the husband and wife would attend because they're the important people right? Then suddenly I get a call from my mom saying that my auntie will be bringing her 5 kids with them, as well as the other relatives.
Now I cannot comprehend why people dont follow rules or instructions. Its not that we dont like to invite the kids (which is also another one of my points - why bring your kid ona fucking formal event that would last until 10 friggin pm) but really, we do not have the luxury of adding more people in the list.
I dont know why my relatives or my parents understand this simple statement - we do not have any extra money left. And Im not even close to these relatives that we are inviting! If I had my own way, I would rather invite my friends than invite them, but I chose to somehow please the rents.
We're very limited to the number of friends we can invite. And even they're posing another problem - they want to bring their gf/bf/whatever with them.
Cant people understand that ITS FUCKING EXPENSIVE TO HOLD A FUCKING WEDDING?? CANT THEY READ THE INVITE - ITS IN A FUCKING EXPENSIVE PLACE! THATS WHY WE HAVE A FUCKING RSVP FOR!
I swear when my kid grows up and decides to get married, I wouldnt subject him/her to this kind of stress. A civil wedding will be fine, and if he/she doesnt want to invite relatives it would be okay with me. Its his/her wedding after all.

Thanks to all who greeted me (lj, text, plurk, friendster, ym) etc etc. :) I feel blessed to have such wonderful friends. :D

Celebrated my bday (or C-day lol) last December 21st, which shall go down in history as one of the most memorable birthdays I ever had. If you had known me for a long time, i rarely celebrate birthdays. One reason is that its very near Christmas and would mean that most of my friends would be home in the province or be outside the country, making the celebration incomplete.
But this year was a bit different. :)
I had to celebrate on the 20th because of a home tradition that us kids need to stay at home on our birthdays :/
Started off with Bryan waking me up and singing a pre-birthday song to me (lol) and then we headed out for lunch. Seafood lunch was heavenly. Wine and beer in the afternoon was heavenly as well.
Then met with Hazel and Marianne for dinner at Shang; and Rotch and Rael followed at about 9ish. Originally we only planned to have a drinking session but later ended up being an overnight session! :D
I love you guys!! :D
What would a birthday be without booze, pizza and chismis?? Hahaha. Definitely one of the best nights of my life. And I actually celebrated my birthday with friends! A world first lol!
The Hotel staff were really nice, because they knew it was my birthday (i had to fill up a name card upon check in). The next day, around 9 AM someone was ringing our room door bell. Rotch got up, opened the door and we were greeted by a very unusual wake up call. The hotel staff had gathered outside with balloons and cake and guitar - and sang Happy Birthday!
Balloons, Cake, Pizza, Coke and Yosi = Heaven!
I went home afterwards with home made spaghetti waiting for me. Nomnomnomnomnom. The 1 hour travel was worth it.
Thank you guys for the wonderful day :) I certainly dont mind getting older this year (but lets keep my age a secret shall we? :p)

I just came back from an Amazing Race trip of Phils-Singapore-Malaysia in 3 days and it was very tiring. Meetings and presentations are not fun at all, but it was good that I met up with my office family so to speak. I missed them all.
And everybody said I got fat. Time to stop eating all the junk! (or maybe it was because of the beer).
I left and came back with 3 scars.
1. Scar #1: I got scarred for life. A permanent ink done by Ricky Sta Ana before I left for Singapore. And will be having a new one done early next year (Chris Garver! I will stalk you!). Unfortunately I dont have a clear picture (as it looks disgusting right now, currently on the peeling stage) so this will do for the moment:
In case you cant make it out (its taken with a lousy cam), its 2 siamese/chinese fighting fish (getta) with the japanese characters for FOCUS and DETERMINATION TO SUCCEED (which I need). My first ink and I have done a big one (its almost one fourth of my back lol). I think I need to come back for additional background work, and Ricky promised to add more details that will cover my shoulders.
It was painful in some areas, and I would like to thank Mogs for seeing me in agony (and trying to talk to me to keep the pain away) :p Good thing im done with the healing part.. and now comes the very-itchy-but-cant-scratch-it part.
2. Scar #2: Im currently sporting a very fashionable index finger (all black and blue!). Its like indelible ink in my finger! This happened when I was in Singapore and in a rush to go to immigration (we drove from Singapore to Malaysia), I slammed the car door and didnt notice that my finger was on the door! It was very painful (and bloody) and Im still trying to adjust to not using my index finger when typing, or texting or when carrying stuff.
My finger still looks awful, swollen and with some scars around the nail. I never thought that car doors are bloody dangerous!
3. Scar #3: I have forgotten the past and moved on to the future. I have finally woken up and realized... IM A FREAKING GODDESS!! (hahaha! just kidding about the goddess part!). I realized I have a brain! O-M-G! (and to think I almost thought about jumping off a building to keep the pain away hahhaha)

We're moving to a new place + renovation + firing people + hiring new people + projects
Plus Im in the middle of a huge contract so I have to be in Laguna almost every freaking day. Im in the mercy of the Japanese until the contract is officially signed.
Until then I still have to continue to babysit some old Japanese guys until they finally sign the contract. Even on weekends!
Running the company is driving me nuts. And is killing my social life too.
So I hope you guys understand :(
